We are located in the beautiful "Old Mill Subdivision" 7 miles from the City of Seward and 120 miles South of Anchorage, just off the main highway. It is not unusual to see moose in the area and on the property. Our neighborhood creek is home to many salmon and trout. During spawning season bald eagles frequently feed at its banks.
Spring of 2009.This Cow moose and her calf have been hanging around our home feeding on the alder!
